Corwin was a star system located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant.
History and specifics[]
In the year 2232, a Tholian vessel and a Starfleet starship engaged in a firefight in the Corwin system. Although it was expected that this engagement would trigger a full scale war between the two galactic powers, the Tholians instead retreated into their own space.
