The Cousteau was a Federation Type-15 shuttlepod in service to Starfleet in the late 24th century. It was assigned to the {USS|Aries|NCC-45167}}.

Service history[]

In the year 2367, Emilita Mendez, a crewwoman on the Aries, hijacked the Cousteau for a journey to the planet Tarchannen III. The shuttlepod was found there abandoned on the surface by an away team from the USS Enterprise. (TNG episode: "Identity Crisis")
