Cren Veruda was a male Cardassian and a notable scientist and cyberneticist in the 24th century.
In 2347, Veruda approached Starfleet with the intention of seeking their help to defect to the Federation. Elias Vaughn, T'Prynn, and Ruriko Tenmei were sent to Kora II to make contact with Veruda and exfiltrate him.
