Culbreath was a 31st century Federation citizen, a Human in Starfleet service in the 3060s decade. Captain Culbreath was the commanding officer of the Federation starship Gav'Nor.

Biography[]

In the 3060s decade, Captain Culbreath served as commanding officer of the starship Gav'Nor. That assignment was recorded on the ship's black box.

In the year 3069, the Gav'Nor, located about 1.000 lightyears from the USS Yelchin-E, was destroyed by the Burn when a cataclysmic galaxywide event rendered dilithium inert.

In 3188, the couriers Jeremiah and Michael Burnham unlocked the data from the Gav'Nor black box. Commander Burnham, also a Starfleet officer herself, learned Culbreath's name from the personnel record. (DSC novel: Wonderlands)
