Cumulative Damage

"Cumulative Damage" was the third TOS short story published in Star Trek Explorer. It was written by Chris Dows, edited by Jonathan Wilkins, and published in June 2022 in the subscriber digital supplement to Explorer, Issue 3. It first saw print in the Q and False and Other Stories omnibus in December 2022. The story takes place in 2270, a few days after the USS Enterprise returned to Earth at the end of Captain James T. Kirk's five-year mission.
