Cursa (also known as Beta Eridani or 67 Eridani) was a A3 class white giant star located in the space of the Klingon Empire in the 24th century. Eighty-nine light-years distant from Sol, Cursa is visible fom Earth in the Eridanus constellation. (ST reference: Star Charts)

History and specifics[]
The Klingon-inhabited star system orbiting Cursa was unofficially attacked by the Cardassian Union around the year 2333. (TLE novel: The Art of the Impossible)
In response to the Cardassian attack the Klingons heavily fortified the planet.
In 2409 a newly promoted lieutenant commander in the Klingon Defense Force traveled to the Cursa system, intending to test their new command in battle against a Starfleet signal detected in the area. This proved to be the bait in a trap set by the recently discommendated House of Torg, seeking revenge for the commander's role in their discommendation. The commander defeated the ambushers.
