D'lanam, also known as Stelam Rom'lnz IV was a planet, by some accounts the fourth planet in the Romulus system.

history and specifics[]

D'lanam was a gas giant, with the name translating literally as "The Great Wonder" in the Romulan language. (FASA RPG module: The Romulans)

The TOS - Rihannsu novel: The Romulan Way did not establish planetary names or specifics, but did establish six planets orbiting Eisn, the primary star of the Romulus system, but listed Romulus as the second world. The FASA RPG shared influences with this source and agreed with the six-planet configuration and the placement of Romulus, which was reiterated in ST video game: Infinite. The later Last Unicorn Games sources listed ten planets and put Remus as the fourth planet. While the number of planets is a seeming contradiction, it is possible the added worlds and certain orbitals with differing numbering were part of the more complex binary star system which was referenced in ST reference: Star Charts, ST reference: The Worlds of the Federation and Infinite, but was not part of the earlier RPGs.
