The D6 class was a group of starship classes, mostly types of battlecruisers which saw service in the Klingon Empire in the early-to-mid 23rd century. In the 2240s, the D6s began to be replaced with the more efficient and advanced D7 class. (TOS - Enterprise Logs short story: "Though Hell Should Bar the Way")
Despite this, however, a hull design with this name was seen again in the later part of the 23rd century in the form of the Relentless-class light cruisers. (ST video game: Klingon Academy)
