Daa'V was a planet located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, in orbit of the Daa'V system.

History and specifics[]

Daa'V was the homeworld of the Daa'Vit civilization, and the capital planet of the Daa'Vit Confederacy state, a long-time enemy of the nearby Klingon Empire.

A well-known Daa'Vit was Morgen, a member of Daa'V's royalty who served in Starfleet for many years before returning to Daa'V to ascend to the throne. (TNG novel: Reunion)

Since the Daa'Vit and Klingons share a long-standing animosity, it's possible that Daa'V is a Beta Quadrant world located near Qo'noS. However, it is also possible that Daa'V is near parts of Klingon Empire space in the Alpha Quadrant, making the quadrant and sector location of this world indeterminate for the purposes of this wiki.

Mirror universe[]

Daa'V was also the Daa'Vit homeworld in a version of the mirror universe. (STA - Mirror Universe- Shards and Shadows short story: "The Traitor")

The similar evolution and milieu of the mirror Daa'Vit implies the similarity of their home territory, even though the world was not mentioned by name.
