Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

The Daa'Vit are a humanoid civilization from the planet Daa'V, located in the Daa'V star system somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrant. In the year 2367, a Daa'Vit Starfleet officer named Morgen ascended to the throne as the monarch of the Daa'Vit Confederacy.

History and specifics[]

They usually have gaunt, sinewy humanoid musculatures and have a grayish-green tint to their skin. In some cases they have distinctive golden eyes.

The Daa'Vit are allies to the Federation. The Daa'Vit Confederacy and the Klingon Empire were enemies for over three hundred years until the Klingons made peace with the Federation by signing the Khitomer Accords. Klingons consider them barbaric. The Daa'Vit have a sword called a ka'yun. (TNG novel: Reunion)

Mirror universe[]

In the mirror universes, the Daa'Vit were similarly a warrior species.

Before the 2340s decade, the Daa'Vit allied themselves with the Klingons. The Daa'Vit prince Morgen used this to his advantage by telling Guinan he was dissatisfied with that alliance in an attempt to destroy the Terran rebels. In actuality, contrary to their prime universe hatred, the mirror Daa'Vit were staunch allies of the Klingons. (STA - Mirror Universe- Shards and Shadows short story: "The Traitor")
