For other uses, see Dactylus.

The Dactylus was a 25th century Undine bioship, a tier 5-rated Dactylus-class bio-warship in service in fluidic space and the Milky Way Galaxy of the primary universe in the 2400s and 2410s decades. (STO - A New Accord mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

History and specifications[]

Alongside the Nicor, the Dactylus counted among the first vessels equipped with the enhanced fluidic energy focusing array. This special weapon allowed the Dactylus to fire a powerful energy beam at a hostile target. The Dactylus was a modern iteration of the 24th century Dactylus class first encountered by Starfleet in the 2370s. In the years of 2409 amd 2410, the Dactylus was acquired by the pact between the United Federation of Planets, Klingon Empire and Romulan Republic, the Khitomer Alliance alongside the Nicor and the Dromias-class bio-cruiser Dromias. (STO - A New Accord mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

From 2410 onwards, flag officers of the Alliance could deploy the Dactylus alongside other spacecraft for assignments across the galaxy's quadrants as part of Operation: Delta Rising's four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Admiralty System")
