Daithin was a seventy-year-old Elohsian who was the premier of the Elohsian parliament.
Biography[]
Daithin was the premier during the decision of whether to side with the United Federation of Planets or the Romulan Star Empire. Daithin favored the unity of the Dar and Populists, and wished for peace. He met with Captain Jean-Luc Picard from the Federation and Commander Sela. Throughout seven days, different meetings and presentations were held, and Daithin along with other parliament members visited the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) and the warbird commanded by Sela. Eventually, Daithin and the parliement agreed to siding with the Romulans. After the decision was made, Daithin retired as premier, hoping to allow a new, better generation of Elohsians to take over.
