Councillor Damyz was a Yeshel serving on the Axis Council, representing his civilization in the Axis of Time community. He was stout with a short tail and a blocky, short-snouted orange-brown tortoise-like head with dark eyes.
He was wise and experienced and functioned as a figurehead on the council, but lamented the fact that the Yeshel had been forgotten by history. This weakness was exploited by Councillor Lirahn who held him in sway under her telepathic influence. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)
