Dan Jurgens (1959 - ) is an American comic book writer and artist. He penciled one TOS story for DC Comics, two character portraits for TOS reference: Who's Who in Star Trek and a 25th anniversary pinup.

Jurgens is probably best known for his work on various Superman titles, including the Death of Superman issue, as well as creating the characters Booster Gold and Doomsday. In addition, he illustrated stories featuring Green Lantern and the Legion of Super-Heroes, characters that have crossed over into the Star Trek universe. He also wrote and pencilled nine Flash Gordon stories.
