Danteri was star, a yellow class G dwarf star with an associated system. The Danteri system was located in the Xarantine sector and Pi Canis sector block of the galaxy's Beta Quadrant. Danteri hosted at least five planets. By the 25th century, the Ferengi had established a colony on Danteri V. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Danteri System Patrol")

Location[]

This system was located within the Xarantine sector, one of three sectors - including the Hromi and Mempa sectors - assigned to the Pi Canis sector block the year 2409. The Xarantine sector was located between 40 and 60 lightyears from Sol, within the former Federation-Klingon Neutral Zone between the Federation and Klingon Empire. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Danteri System Patrol")

History[]

The Ferengi Alliance settled the fifth planet of the Danteri system in the 25th century. By the 2400s, it was a basis for warehouses and commerce, and chiefly controlled by two acrimonious Ferengi brothers. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Danteri System Patrol")

"Danteri" was also the name of the Danteri, a humanoid species native to the planet Danter, located outside Sector 221-G. (NF novel: House of Cards)

No relation is established between the Danteri people and the Danteri system.

In the year 2409, an Allied starship was called to Danteri V to negotiate a conciliation between the two brothers Araglo and Glaren. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Danteri System Patrol")
