Daran Freeport is the major spaceport on Daran V.
History and specifics[]
The spaceport was located within District A of the capital city of Daraniss. A sound baffle made of 60-meter thick tritanium beams sequestered it from other districts. A pool of groundcar vehicles was available for official use by Starfleet visitors, able to accommodate between two and eight passengers. Security was maintained by government personnel. Civilian travel to and from the spaceport district was possible via a unirail station to the northwest and a hovertrain station to the southeast, not far from where main cargo handling takes place. Times were measured by Daraniss Local Standard Time, with 27:00 hours being one hour prior to midnight. (FASA RPG module: Old Soldiers Never Die)
