Biography[]

Early life[]

Darok's mother was also a member of the Defense Force and fought against the Romulans, in a battle where she was killed. Years later, Darok would express regret that he did not talk to his mother before she left to fight the Empire's old enemy. (DS9 - The Left Hand of Destiny novel: Book Two)

Darok's father was killed when a ship crashed into a brothel he was frequenting. Darok would later comment that the brothel was an interesting place to die in. (DS9 - The Left Hand of Destiny novel: Book Two)

Darok had once fought against Captain Matthew Decker on a planet after their ships had exchanged fire in orbit. Decker managed to shoot Darok in the leg, but later patched the wound and signaled Darok's ship to beam him aboard. (DS9 - The Left Hand of Destiny novel: Book Two)

Dominion War[]

As the House of Martok's gin'tak, Darok accompanied Martok to Deep Space 9 during the Dominion War and also served as his assistant on the space station and aboard the IKS Ch'Tang. Darok became friends with Kor when the latter was assigned to the same ship, with both reminiscing about the Empire of old. (DS9 episode: "Once More Unto the Breach")
