Darvot fritters were a type of food known to the inhabitants of the galaxy's Delta Quadrant.

History and specifics[]

This dish was made with darvots, Ubean oat milk and fuchsia foam crickets. (ST reference: Star Trek Cookbook)

In the year 2371, Neelix cooked darvot fritters shortly after he first joined the crew of the Federation starship USS Voyager. He instructed Ensign Michael Parsons to rotate them until they turned a deep chartreuse. (VOY episode: "Phage") They became a favorite of Captain Kathryn Janeway, who would sometimes have them as a late-night snack with a glass of Kharma berry milk. (ST reference: Star Trek Cookbook)
