DaystromM510

Daystrom M-5-10 (eventually coming to be referred to by the name Data) was a synth, an artificial intelligence brought to life at the beginning of the 25th century by Altan Inigo Soong. The primary personality engrams used were from Data and Lore, and the recorded patterns from Lal and B-4.

Biography[]

After a power struggle between Data and Lore's personalities, Data was able to take control of the synth body that Altan Soong had designed to house the M-5-10 consciousness. (PIC episode: "Surrender")

When the former crew of the USS Enterprise-D regained control of their old starship from Geordi La Forge's Starfleet Museum, Daystrom M-5-10 was able to take Data's place among them as they prepared for their fateful battle with the Borg. (PIC episodes: "Võx", "The Last Generation")
