The deep space monitor stations (or deep space monitoring station)] were a series of Federation outposts operated by Starfleet by the 2260s decade, a subseries of deep space stations used for monitoring purposes.

History and specifics[]

In the 2260s, there were at least eighteen of these outposts, including Deep Space Monitor Station 18. (TOS - New Visions comic: "Time's Echo")

In the Kelvin timeline, Deep Space Monitoring Station K8-GG was in operation by the 2250s. (ST website: AreYouThe1701.com)
