In an alternate timeline in which Khan Noonien Singh won the Eugenics Wars, the Defiance was a Khanate Earthfleet warship in service during the late 24th century. It was under the command of Princeps Julian Bashir. The Defiance was equipped with a nadion pulse antenna and a cloaking device.
History[]
By 2376, the Defiance was assigned to the region near the Cardassian Control Zone in the Bajor sector and reported to Lord-Commander Sisko on Station D9. Quadrant Command compared Defiance's lacklustre results with the victories of Princeps Ethan Locken earned with the Prometheus.
In June 2376, the Defiance apprehended the Bajoran Perikian-class rebel ship Meru at the Ajir system, capturing its crew and destroying the disabled vessel. Coincidentally, the Defiance also discovered the long-lost SS Botany Bay. Princeps Bashir had the crew of the Botany Bay awakened and authorized his chief engineer Fel sh'Zenne to refit the derelict with warp drive. (ST - Myriad Universes novella: Seeds of Dissent)
