A Deflector grid was a component of deflector systems on Federation starships.

History and specifications[]

In the year 2369, in an effort to locate a missing shuttlecraft, the USS Enterprise-D's deflector grid was used to boost the signal between the triangulated sensor systems of the Enterprise, Starbase 172 and the planetary sensor array on Wyath. (TNG - The Space Between comic: "Light of the Day")
