A deli (short for delicatessen) was a type of food vending business, a combination of a grocery store and restaurant common in settlements of the Human civilization, as well as other humanoid peoples.
History and specifics[]
A deli often packaged and sold cold cut meats and cheese, bakery items, and also ready-to-eat food such as sandwiches.
