Delnek was a male Romulan that lived during the time of the Dominion War.
He was the favored son and aide-de-camp of Senator Varyet, a member of the Imperial Romulan Senate of the Romulan Star Empire. He would be sent to the frontline during the war against the Dominion where he was saved from death by the actions of the Reman soldier Mekrikuk.
The Remans actions would result in him being accepted as a slave of Varyet's household where he was given an unprecedented amount of freedom as long as he remembered his place in public. His and his mother's kindness were noted by Mekrikuk who's freedom was cut short when Delnek and the Senator were killed during Shinzon of Remus's assassination of the Senate. (TTN novel: Taking Wing)
