Delphi system

Delphi was a trinary star system, located not far from Romulan territory in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, in or near a 23rd century boundary of Federation space in sector 01379.

History and specifics[]

In the year 2269, the starship USS Enterprise was en route to probe radiation clouds at Omega Corvus when Starfleet Command diverted her to Delphi system to investigate the disappearances of several spacecraft here. For at least a month, Gothos was relocated near the system by Trelane, who was playing out a World War I military fantasy game with the crews of the SS Mniki'rr, SS Shinobi, and USS Zimbabwe. In 2370, a Federation archeological team discovered the legendary Orb of Knowledge on Delphi IV, and the USS Enterprise-D was sent there to retrieve it. (TNG module: How To Host A Mystery)

Judgment Rites reported no habitable planets were located in the system, whereas How To Host A Mystery noted at least four planets.
