Delta Orionis VIII was a planet, the eighth planet in the Delta Orionis star system.
Until the later 2260s decade, snortweed was believed to grow on Delta Orionis VII only. However, the Federation starship USS Enterprise discovred snortweed on Flyspeck. Some crewmembers theorized the plant life may have been planted on different planets by the Preservers. (TOS novel: Doctor's Orders)
