Delta Volanis Science Station was a Federation space station, a science outpost in Starfleet service in the 2250s decade. It was stationed in the Delta Volanis Cluster, Vulcan sector of the galaxy's Beta Quadrant. (STO - Age of Discovery mission: "Secrets")

History and specifications[]

In 2256, the station consisted of a pancake-shaped saucer section, surrounded by four petal-like wings on mechanical arms. A segmented dome towered over the center of the station.

A few weeks after the Battle at the Binary Stars, local researcher Doctor Dean Chan dispatched a distress call when the Klingons attacked and damaged the station. Starfleet sent the USS Malachowski, which helped repair the station and defend it against it another Klingon attack. Finally, the USS Glenn arrived but was boarded by the Klingons. J'Ula of House Mo'Kai had lured the spore drive-ship to the station to seize its technology.

With the Klingons forced to retreat by the crews of Glenn and Malachowski, Delta Volanis Science Station was safe and Doctor Chan could return to his research. (STO - Age of Discovery mission: "Secrets")
