Deltan 300 graveyard sector

The Deltan 300 graveyard sector was an area of space, a sector located somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, in relation to the Delta star system.

History and specifics[]

The region contained at least one star system with a star, planets, and moons.

As in the Delta 330 sector, battles during the Delta Wars left the area so littered with destroyed starship wrecks that it was commonly called a graveyard. In the war's aftermath, salvage merchant organizations such as the Kro-Regas recycling fleet and Latimor Recycling Plant saturated the area with their small salvage ships.

By 2277, valuable scrap was running out. When Captain James T. Kirk of the USS Enterprise deemed it necessary to divert through the sector in order to make a diplomatic meeting on time, he called it an unpleasant shortcut in his log entry. (TOS comic: "A Merchant's Loyalty")

As a nearby sector was called Delta 330, this sector's proper name might be "Sector Delta 300", "Delta 300 sector", or just "Sector 300", but the story only provided the name "Deltan 300 graveyard sector".
