Demos was a half-Bajoran/half Cardassian hybrid. He was also a Rom Knight commando.
History[]
Demos was the son of a Bajoran farming woman who was raped by a Cardassian soldier during the Occupation of Bajor, leading to Demos gaining an intense hatred for his paternal ancestry. Demos was acquainted with Kira Nerys, who had been a member of the Bajoran Underground that drove the Cardassians from Bajor, and the two were on a name basis, with Kira addressing him as an old friend. During the Dominion War, Demos was recruited by Starfleet operatives Commander Kira Nerys and Elim Garak to help train the Cardassian resistance to fight the Dominion. He did this to protect Bajor from the Dominion, despite his loathing towards Cardassians. During his time with Cmdr. Kira and Garak, Demos helped supply ships. However one mission almost got him killed and he ended up severely burned. (DS9 - Alien Spotlight comic: "Cardassians")
