Background[]
- Pre-TNG references to Deneb IV orbiting Alpha Cygni were retconned as being in the Deneb Kaitos system in ST reference: Star Charts to explain discontinuities between the Deneb system well-known to the Federation in the 23rd century and the more distant Deneb system at the Federation's frontier in the mid-24th century. It illustrated one moon in orbit.
