History and projects[]

In the late 22nd century, on reference stardate 1/19, the facility opened and began studying transtator physics.

On reference stardate 1/34, researcher Khan Revox released findings that the space-time of one sector in the Orion Arm of the galaxy was dangerously unstable, and recommended that the entire sector be evacuated.

On reference stardate 1/35, project director Janet Hester's Deneva Research Team #4 successfully beamed a single-celled protozoan using a prototype transporter. (ST reference: Spaceflight Chronology)
