Derek Redmond (born 3 September 1965) was a 20th and 21st century Human man from the planet Earth, a runner in Olympic Games.


In the year 1992, Redmond competed at the Barcelona Olympic Games. During the competition, Redmond tore a muscle in his right leg, forcing his father to run onto the track and help Redmond across the finish line. (TNG - Strange New Worlds 9 short story: "Staying the Course")
