The otherwise unnamed descendants were a race of spacegoing alien lifeforms who emerged from the Bajoran wormhole in the year 2370, having taken the form of Bajoran humanoids.

History and specifics[]

These creatures initially claimed amnesia, but were quickly assumed to be descendants of powerful deities, leading to comparisons with the Prophets, as well as the Preservers and even angels. Their outward appearance indicated they were part of the order of life to which the Bajorans belonged, causing a stir among the station's religious. (DS9 comic: "Descendants")
