Dhruva was a Starfleet officer during the mid-23rd century, the commanding officer of the Federation starship USS Constitution circa the year 2270.

History[]

Dhruva commanded the Constitution during the early 2270s, leading a Federation task force ordered to intercept a joint Klingon/Romulan invasion force along the Romulan Neutral Zone.

During the course of the battle, the Constitution rescued the nearly-immobilized USS Yorktown (under the command of Number One, a.k.a., Commodore Robbins) as well as its captive bridge crew, and was onhand to witness the intervention of the Organians in the conflict. (TOS comic: "Romulans: Schism")
