Diaadul was a female Trehanna from Yrigar who was the first officer of the pirate starship Helios under the command of Demaree Kolovzon.
In the year 2371, Diaadul came to Deep Space 9 to obtain material to repair the Helios from Quark, as well as Vilis Möhrlein and Kerel Tama. After her ties to the Helios were uncovered by Odo, Diaadul took Miles O'Brien and Kira Nerys hostage and the three were transported to the Helios. (DS9 novel: Proud Helios)
