"Disaster" was the 105th episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, the 5th episode of the show's fifth season, first aired during the week of 21 October 1991. The episode was written by Ron Jarvis, Philip A. Scorza and Ronald D. Moore and directed by Gabrielle Beaumont.


The Enterprise's command systems are disabled by a quantum filament, stranding the crew in various sections of the ship.
