Ditagh was a Klingon male who lived during the late 23rd and early 24th centuries.
History[]
He was a child on Qo'noS when Praxis exploded in 2293. By 2311, he was serving as an aide to Ambassador Kage. However, his admitted loyalties were to General Gorak and the Klingon Defense Force, rather than to Chancellor Azetbur. This proved to be something of a deception, as Ditagh - disguised as Morahg, one of Azetbur's guards - killed Gorak during an attempt on Azetbur's life. He then turned on the Chancellor herself and mortally wounded her, so that his true patron - Gorak's rival, General Kaarg - could become Chancellor. (ST - The Lost Era novel: Serpents Among the Ruins)
In 2323, after Kaarg's death, Ditagh became Chancellor himself. His reign saw the beginning of the Betreka Nebula Incident but was otherwise unremarkable. After years of ill-health, he was succeeded as Chancellor by Kravokh in 2334. (TLE novel: The Art of the Impossible; KE novel: A Burning House)
