A dokal was a type of large bird lifeform native to the planet Vulcan.
Vulcans kept these animals on farms in circumpolar regions and harvested their eggs, which were double or triple the size of Earth chicken eggs. The birds had a large appetite, beneficial for removing insects and weeds on farmlands.
