Dopterius is an inhabited planet, in orbit of the Dopteria star system, located somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant. The homeworld of the Dopterian civilization, this planet was known to the United Federation of Planets rather early in Starfleet's ventures into space. Circa 2379, Dopterius and its system were part of the Ferengi Alliance. Following the temporal crisis, the Ferengi Traditionalists established their faction center on Dopterius. (ST video game: Star Trek Timelines)
