Dost Abor was a male Cardassian and a member of the Obsidian Order.

In 2357, Abor investigated the disappearance of a Bajoran orb from the Cardassian Ministry of Science, hoping to find evidence of a resurgence of the Oralian Way. Abor discovered a transmission between Kalisi Reyar and Yannik Reyar when he was stationed at a listening post on Valo VI in which Kalisi referred to a mysterious Bajoran artifact and a friend of hers who had had a strange encounter with it. (ST - Terok Nor novel: Night of the Wolves)

In 2365, Abor approached Kalisi Reyar, offering to have her reassigned from working with Crell Moset in exchange for Reyar providing him information about Miras Vara, who Abor suspected of being Astraea, the Guide for the Oralian Way. When the information Reyar provided yielded no sign of Astraea or Oralians, Abor killed Reyar. In 2368, Kutel Esad provided Yannik Reyar, Kalisi's father, with information that Abor had killed his daughter and that was currently living in Cardassia City under the alias Ran Lotor. Yannik planned to "visit" Abor soon. (ST - Terok Nor novel: Dawn of the Eagles)
