Dramia was a star system, located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[]

The Dramia system's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, including second planet Dramia II and Dramia, the homeworld of the Dramian civilization. (TAS episode & Log Six novelization: Albatross, TOS video game: Star Trek App)

The Dramia system's star was visible from Earth. In an alternate reality where Leonard McCoy saved the life of Edith Keeler, McCoy noticed the star, as well as Rigel and Altair, on a clear night in the year 1930 after he walked across the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. (TOS - Crucible novel: Provenance of Shadows)

By the 23rd century, debris containing rare elements from an ancient supernova drifted into the system and was ionized by Dramia's star, producing the Dramia aurora. (Adventures RPG module: The Animated Series Supplemental Guide)

In 2270, the Starfleet starship USS Enterprise visited the system. (TAS episode & Log Six novelization: Albatross)
