Draylax was a planet located in the Epsilon Indi system and the homeworld of the Draylaxians. Draylax was a United Federation of Planets member in 2378. (ST reference: Star Charts)

History[]

Prior to 2150, Travis Mayweather visited Draylax aboard the ECS Horizon so he was able to confirm the rumors Charles Tucker III had heard about Draylaxians. (ENT episode: "Broken Bow") While on Draylax, Mayweather also had a relationship with Gannet Brooks. (ENT novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wing)

In 2152, Trip Tucker used Draylax in a geography game he played with Captain Jonathan Archer. (ENT episode: "Desert Crossing")

In 2155 Draylax had recently joined mutual defense pact with Alpha Centauri which in terms had a similar agreement with Earth. That's why on July 18, 2155 Columbia NX-02 had to defend Draylax against in an apparent attack of three Klingon battle cruisers. (ENT novel: Kobayashi Maru (novel))

On Saturday, 1 May 2160, the Romulans attacked Draylax, using the same warp-speed kamikaze run that was employed at Coridan Prime and Galorndon Core, causing massive fires and volcanic eruptions all over the planet. Over a billion Draylaxians were killed, and more deaths were expected. (ENT - The Romulan War novel: To Brave the Storm)

In the 23rd century, Draylax was known for a tea export, Draylax fire tea. (TOS eBook: Shadow of the Machine)
