A Haakona-class warbird using dual vector separation.
Dual vector separation was a capability of the Romulan Haakona-class warbird, based on the multi-vector assault mode of Starfleet's Prometheus-class. The ship separated its upper hull from its lower hull, enabling the more maneuverable lower section, similar to a Ha'feh-class assault warbird, to provide cover fire to the upper section, similar to a Ha'nom-class guardian warbird.
