He was a member of a delegation of representatives from the twelve largest nations on Botchok that informed the alien masters of the Orion race of the impending ecological catastrophe caused by the Atom War and Long Winter and suggested that the Orions be allowed to repair the damage themselves, leading to the Accord of Namazz. As a Grey Orion, Dufen's role was rewritten during the Dispossession, so that he was referred to as a Ruddy Orion instead, and was the only Grey whose name survived. (FASA RPG module: The Orions: Book of Deep Knowledge)
