Durjik was a male Romulan who, sometime prior to late 2379, served as a Senator in the Imperial Romulan Senate. He was a member of the Rilkon clan.

During the turbulent times in the Romulan Star Empire that followed the murder of Praetor Hiren and most of the Senate at the hands of Shinzon, Durjik allied himself with Tebok and former senator Pardek. The three of them served as a "war hawk" faction that sought to encourage preemptive strikes against the Federation.

After Pardek's death, Durjik suspected that he had been murdered by agents of the Federation or by those of Praetor Tal'Aura. This caused a tense atmosphere at a summit on Romulus, and nearly resulted in Proconsul Tomalak engaging Durjik in personal combat. It was hoped that the Reman rebellion would bring the internal squabbling to an end. (TTN novel: Taking Wing)

Durjik opposed the decriminalization of Spock's Unification movement. (ST - Typhon Pact novel: Rough Beasts of Empire)
