Eden Gilman was a female Human, the daughter of David Gold and Rachel Gilman, their third child out of six. As a child, her father called her "Princess", though she came to dislike that name. (SCE eBooks: Wildfire, Book 2, Breakdowns)

As an adult, she became estranged from her parents; despite this, she did see her family at the memorial service for her brother Nathan Gold in 2375, and a homecoming celebration for her father in 2376.
