Professor Edward Charles Francis Publius de Bono (19 May 1933 - 9 June 2021) was a 20th and 21st century Human man from the planet Earth, an academician known for originating the concept of lateral thinking.

Biography[]

Edward de Bono was born in Malta, an island country located between Italy and Tunisia in the Mediterranean Sea in Europe. As a youth, he attended St. Edward's College boarding school.

He devised the idea of lateral thinking as a means of broadening logic creatively. Over his academic career, he was awarded numerous degrees at elite campuses including Cambridge University, the University of Oxford, and the University of Malta. He served on the faculties of Oxford, Cambridge, and the University of London.
