Einstein Crater

Einstein Crater is a meteorite impact crater, a landmark on Luna.

History and specifics[]

The crater is 181 kilometers in diameter and located in the moon's northern hemisphere at coordinates 16.60° N latitude and 88.65° W longitude.

The crater is west of Oceanus Procellarum and south of the settlements of Lorentz and West Lorentz. It is the site of the city of Relativity. (Last Unicorn RPG module: Starfleet Academy "Luna Planetary Index")

The crater was named for French mathematician Albert Einstein.
