The Ellora are a humanoid species conquered by the Son'a in 2325. Their heads are surrounded by a bone plate with patterns on it. The females and males share the same look in this regard. Formerly a primitive race, the Ellora, along with the Tarlac, were fully integrated into Son'a society as indentured servants by 2375. (TNG movie: Star Trek: Insurrection)
