The Enclave of the Faceless Ones was a location on the planet Vulcan.
It was the home of a group of beings called the Faceless Ones who resided in this sanctuary with the Vulcan race. At some point, the races world had a comet that passed too close to the planet which led to most of the inhabitants dying. Those that survived had all vestiges of facial features burnt away by the comet leaving them bereft of sight, speech or hearing. These Faceless Ones later sought refuge on Vulcan where none were repulsed by their appearance. (TOS novel: Dwellers in the Crucible)
